President
WELL Faculty · Associate AIA · LEED AP BD+C
Summer leads ecoREAL with two decades of experience making healthy, high-performing buildings practical for every owner and project team. She began at Sienna Architecture in Seattle on some of the earliest Living Building and LEED ND pilots, and years on federal jobsites showed her where projects struggle most. She has guided cities, counties, school districts, nonprofits, and developers to results they didn't think were possible, including the City of Portland's move from LEED Platinum to the Northwest's first municipal WELL pursuit. A longtime LEED and WELL trainer and past Chair of the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs, she weaves equity into every project.
Chief Revenue Officer
Pamela pairs sustainable building knowledge with business development and public-sector experience. At ecoREAL she has supported LEED workshops, eco-charrettes, and one of the region's first WELL Building initiatives; her work on the Portland Building helped set the stage for the Northwest's first municipal WELL pursuit. Committed to opening green building to small and emerging firms, she helped prepare diverse contractors for larger public projects through the Sheltered Market Program and partnered with the Portland Development Commission on TalentWell, connecting small businesses with architects and builders. She and Summer have presented internationally on "WELL Building for All."
Product Director
Josh brings a mechanical engineering background and a Master's in Architecture from the University of Oregon to high-performance building work. His experience spans sustainable materials, building systems, LEED and WELL certification, HPD and EPD documentation, and the full life cycle of materials and environmental compliance. Before joining the team he was a reliability engineer in the nuclear sector, then managed projects at McKenzie Architects focused on healthy materials, indoor environmental quality, Net Zero performance, and ESG strategy. He turns real-world project challenges into tools that keep teams organized and confident in their sustainability goals.
